The post office should raise the price of a package by approximately four times

What do you think, would it be good or bad for the USA as a whole for the USPS to raise, in a few weeks, package delivery price by approximately four times?

Personally, I think it’s a stupid idea.

Yes, a fair and important consideration.

Luckily there are websites out there that facilitate easy price comparisons across the USPS, UPS, and FedEx, for example:

Just put in origin, destination, dimension, and weight, and the website’s tool will show options and prices from the USPS, UPS, and FedEx in one table for easy comparison.

I tried a few variables and don’t see how the 4X price increase can be competitive.
