Holy Crap, I had that in my picks! Since my picks always suck anyway, I figured I would go by mascots. A golden eagle vs a a chocolate confection with peanut butter? No contest!
By the way, I have high hopes for the Drexel Dragons this year...

Where do you fall on a Beaver against a Volunteer? My Alma Mater just won it's first NCAA tournament game in 39 years.

I've never followed March Madness before.
The only sport I really watch on TV is NFL football.

As athletes get older, they pick up more injuries and recovery time is longer.
A high ankle sprain is serious. He might come back, but he won't be the same player for a long time...

@jolly Yeah . . . it must be surreal for athletes -- doing the work to get to the top, king of the mountain, best of the best one minute, and then in one second it can all be torn away.

When you are tuned just for performance, the injuries get more catastrophic.

There's a documentary about Kobe Bryant's recovery from his late career achilles rupture. He came back in about 8 months. Those top level athletes whose lives are the game will surprise you with how fast they can come back. Not to mention the world class daily medical attention they get during the recovery.

That's quick. An achilles is usually twelve months.
Big guys who depend upon explosiveness may never come back all the way...
