Turley comments that he's surprised that someone hasn't fallen/tripped on those stairs before. Seems like a silly way for POTUS to board an aircraft, doesn't it?

It actually looks like he slipped. Happens to us all a lot of us.

The White House spox said it was "because of the wind." C'mon, man, the breezes were 10mph there.

He freaking slipped. It's not like he passed out getting into a limo...

The stumbling aside, what struck me was his awkward gait when he was on the tarmac walking to Air force One. Didn't look right, as if he wasn't sure where his feet were.

      Elbows up!

Ask any puppeteer and they'll tell you the hardest thing is to make their puppet's movements look natural.

        Education is extremely important.

Firing a projectile at the President's head isn't funny after Zapruder film. In fact, I think it's illegal like saying you're going to attack the President is. This could be inciteful for some nuts.

OK, well take away the Zapruder film and it is kind of funny

                        The Hitler video is funny!
Does anyone know what movie or TV series this is from (without the false overdubbing)?
The Hitler guy looks like Hitler. Yeah, I know, he's s'posed to, dude.

                          Downfall, from 2004.

It's on Amazon Prime if you're a subscriber.

Downfall is a really great movie. It's actually a bit of a shame that it's become known primarily for this clip.

Bruno Ganz' portrayal of Hitler is very well done - I think the best one I've seen in a movie.

US presidents are rarely short on comedy value, in one form or another.

I reckon Boris and Joe could do a fairly serviceable Laurel and Hardy impersonation, if the opportunity arose (with the nationalities reversed from the original).

I agree. A really really good movie. I am not surprised if that is how the last days of the Nazis happened.

On another note - I would hate to be so famous that there was a camera or movie on me 24 hours a day. I am sure that multiple times a day, i do something that looks stupid. 555

He did break his foot back in December and was supposed to wear one of those funny boots for a few weeks. I wonder if he really should have been running up the stairs. More prudent to just go up the stairs like a normal person. Being image conscious, he may have wanted to show how "in shape" he is by running up the stairs. Mission Accomplished!

He was doing pushups on the campaign trail. It's not new that his handlers have pushed the "Vitality Joe" angle to the point of parody.

                                          Education is extremely important.
