I never wear a mask when I walk the dogs. But most people I see out there, do.
Masks outside make zero difference (like wiping down your mail) but it’s a nuance most people don’t understand. What slays me are the people that drive with a mask on. I suppose it’s some sort of tribal signal.

The sign says they are required in the clubhouse, you might see a few in there

Masks outside make zero difference (like wiping down your mail) but it’s a nuance most people don’t understand. What slays me are the people that drive with a mask on. I suppose it’s some sort of tribal signal.

Do you take your jacket off every time you're in the car? Why not, it's not like you need it, idiot!
For some people it's a lot like that. You have it on for hours at work so they just forget until they're home.

I cheat. I wear glasses, and it bugs the hell out of me that every time I exhale, my glasses fog up. So, I create a hole at the bottom large enough that it doesn't fog.
Not good, I know. I tried not breathing, worked for awhile.

When I wear my mask, I never have my eye glasses on at the same time.
If I do have my glasses on and am also wearing my mask, my glasses often fog up.
Also, my glasses are more likely to fall off my face if I'm also wearing my mask.
However, I can get by without having my glasses on. My eyesight isn't that bad, fortunately.

Just readjust it. I do the Fauci thing and wear two with glasses and mine don't fog up.

Rainman, do you use a mask that has an adjustable nose bridge piece to keep it snug to your nose? That makes ours not fog up our eyeglasses. It also makes the mask more effective, as does the interior filter system of the mask.

Yeah, we have an assortment of masks, and they all have the nose clip where you can bend it to fit.
Maybe my cheeks are too umm robust? Maybe I have more hot air than the rest of you? I've tried pretty much everything, but I'll keep trying.

Went to wedding last night. Rural area, mostly farmers. Wedding and reception were outside, with the wedding on a dock in the farm pond and the reception on the back lawn, with the equipment shed serving as cover for the caterers and the DJ. A John Deere combine was a nice backdrop, covered in white lights.
Anyway, probably about 100-125 people.
Masks=0.
