Thursday afternoon

Got the call from our County Health Department just now. Scheduled my first shot for this Thursday in the late afternoon.
Brought up hubby's name, and got him registered for the time slot immediately after mine. Nurse eventually found his info on the same printout as mine, so she would have been calling him soon anyway. Nicer to have our appointments scheduled close together.
A good wife'll do that for ya, don'cha know. LOLDid not expect this to happen so soon. I really thought it would be more like June or July, not mid-March.
This is such a relief.
Hubby is going to gloat. He said they would call today, however he thought it would be to come in on short notice due to a cancelled appointment. We're getting a bunch of snow today, up to 7 inches. We were debating whether to drive if we got asked to fill open slots. He was for it. He loves an excuse to go spin the tires in the snow. LOLOL

I think many people don't think about their county health department as a source for vaccinations. Not all counties here have opened up to the public for the new tiers of qualified applicants. Some are still restricted to working with specific employers or schools. The smaller counties' health departments have more flexibility already, and fewer people who consider going there. I just signed us up on Thursday of last week.
Yay for the small town life!

How long is the time from first dose to second? Does it depend on the brand?
Yes, Pfizer 3 weeks, Moderna 4 weeks
My wife had Pfizer, I had Moderna
Did you notice other differences?
