Manipulative. Hollywood Trash.
I'm fairly sure that both of the ladies featured were pretty manipulative in their dealings with the media.
One of them has been deified by the press, the other has been demonized. I would also humbly suggest that the press do more manipulation than the pair of them put together.

Agreed. And as for the outfit comparisons - come on - these women are photographed wearing a million outfits, they have a zillions of dollars worth of clothing and of course you are going to find a few that are similar in color or style that you can put together and say “ooooh, creepy!” What a load of horse manure this all is. I wasn’t to know specifically about the black outfit - is that a poppy, for remembrance day maybe? Of course they are wearing similar outfits. I’m willing to be you could do with with Kate Middleton, the queen, whoever. Find 8 photos with similar outfits. It’s ridiculous.

Agreed.
I haven't followed this story. No criticism intended, but I don't really get the fascination. But if everything y'all are saying is true, then they're a pretty sleazy pair.

The sanctimoniousness of the British tabloid media is unbelievable.
I'll say this again - they hacked a murdered 13-year-old girls' phone, so that they could access her voice mail. This action gave her parents a false hope that she was still alive.
Meghan Markle could join Anitifa and parade through New York City smashing windows whilst wearing a t-shirt emblazoned with 'I'm Easy, Do me!', and it wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as this.

I watched a documentary last evening on George V's offspring, specifically Edward VIII. It would seem that the shenanigans of the royal children is not unique to the current monarch's immediate family. Until Edward and and Mrs. Simpson came along there appeared to be a gentlemen's agreement between the Palace and Fleet Street that the depraved private world of the Royals would be left alone and out of the public eye.

I have $10 that says Piers winds up on Fox.

@george-k said in The Harry / Meghan / Oprah interview:
I've got $50 that says the Harry/Meghan marriage doesn't survive the decade.
You think the queen offs her?

Probably not worth the effort.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, made a formal complaint to British broadcaster ITV relating to Piers Morgan's comments about her mental health, CNN has learned.
ITV announced on Tuesday that Morgan would leave the program he hosted, "Good Morning Britain," after he cast doubt on whether Meghan had suicidal thoughts, a major revelation from her blockbuster interview with Oprah Winfrey.
"Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain," ITV said on Tuesday. "ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add."CNN understands that Meghan's complaint to ITV concerned the impact Morgan's comments could have on others and how it could degrade the seriousness of mental health issues. The complaint did not relate to the personal nature of Morgan's attacks.
Piers Morgan blasted by co-host over Meghan: 'You continue to trash her'
On Monday's edition of "Good Morning Britain," Morgan questioned whether the Duchess was being truthful about having suicidal thoughts. His comments sparked a huge controversy in Britain, and he was rebuked by mental health charity Mind.UK media regulator Ofcom said it had received over 41,000 complaints about Monday's edition of "Good Morning Britain," and had launched an investigation under its "harm and offence rules."
On Wednesday, Morgan said that he "still" does not believe Meghan.
"I've had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don't [believe her]," Morgan tweeted. "If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I'm happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I'm off to spend more time with my opinions."
