Racist Babies

You could find toddler discrimination on so many dimensions.
I've seen kids cry over beards, skin color, hair length, turbans, peoples' weight, etc.
Being in the middle of the color spectrum - I've seen "racist" behavior against the lights and the darks.

It's science.
I was at a meeting where "Racial Equity" was the format and the (supposed) goal.
At one point, they showed a YouTube video where a toddler was given a choice of three dolls: black, medium, white. The point was made before they even showed the video: all toddler's picked the white doll because, well, racism.
Even the black toddler picked the white doll because, well, racism, everywhere.Funny, because not 10 minutes before the YouTube video, a lady at our table was in tears, because she was pregnant, and she wanted more than anything for the child to be as fair-skinned as possible. She explained that regardless of what "they" say, Hispanic parents secretly want the lightest skin tone possible.
She also stated that she had never explained her desire to anyone. Some people, even if at a table with strangers, spill their guts for some reason. I sat back and thought, "why are you crying and telling us this?"
Truth was, she received a lot of sympathy at our table, because of "your truth" was supposed to be accepted especially if it was against me, er, one of the white guys.
The only one that seemed disgusted was the moderator at our table. I labeled him "angry Puerto Rican" which i found out was actually a very racist accusation, and not just a reference to Sanford & Son, the TV show.
I mean, it's unamerican not to love Redd Foxx. But our moderator or facilitator WAS an "angry and racist Puerto Rican" so what was I supposed to do other than to apologize because he got angry at me for being a racist.
Actually, he was a nice guy, but at the same time, a racist jerk that did not see that he was racist. He got paid to be racist (in my view), I knew it because I was a board member and saw the funds allocated to stamping out racism in our district via SJW's and tons of "diversity" training.
Social Justice Warriors have no mirrors of any type, I guess. Especially when being paid, and paid quite a lot. -

Their mother went to great pains to inform the guests in her home that might inquire about her wedding picture - full lace mantilla, hand sewn gown - that her grandparents were from Spain. Northern Spain. And her ancestors had several blondes and a couple of redheads.

Were they Basque? Interesting, because I believe northern Spain is
whiteBasque, not to be confused with "them" or so I've been told. -
In other news of the woke, the host of The Bachelor, where a group of women compete to win the affections of a guy, is being canceled. He defended one of the contestants after some pictures came out of her having attended an "antebellum" party, where presumably the partiers dress up as antebellum southerners. The funny thing is that the bachelor this season is African American. (The girl is white.)

Beateth me. I do know both of the girls were green-eyed brunettes. And very pretty, in a model-ly type way. Different personalities, even though they were identical twins. Beth made a doctor, while I think her sister went into business of some kind. -

I had the reverse situation in college. When my light skinned Hispanic girlfriend was pregnant, I wanted more than anything for the baby to be black. Fortunately, he was...
I’m never going to be a Senator, am I?

Very common in Asia too. There is a big business in selling "white skin cream".
Though in Asia, it is mainly because darker skin is associate with people who have to work outside, like the manual labor people.
That is why it is pretty common still to see people walking around with sun umbrellas or at least avoiding the sun as much as possible. It was strange when I first come to the US to see people doing the opposite - trying to be in the sun to get as dark as possible.

TG - maybe that's why Asian ladies are so pretty, they don't let the sun touch their skin? Perfect complexions in my view.

What is even better is the rumor is that the bachelor dude picked the antebellum girl. And then threw her under the bus when the controversy surfaced.

It's hard to imagine contestants in The Bachelor being so selfish and shallow.

Except progressive pop culture has normalized this “selfish and shallow” response. Or maybe enforced it through threat of social expulsion.

I'd say that shows such as The Bachelor do more - they positively celebrate the selfish and superficial
