I used to dive out of Tavernier key many years ago. Not far from you. A couple miles maybe.

You can get a fishing charter about 4 miles from there at Robbie's.

@mik You thought about just flying back yourself from MIA and returning next day? You’re pretty protected now and that would buy you 10 more days in the keys.
Yeah but I couldn’t find good flights and my hosts would not support it. My uncle’s wife is battling cancer and just cannot catch this.
