Not Riding on The City of New Orleans
-
I commented on the FB CONO group:
Every time I’ve ridden on The City of New Orleans when we leave Chicago, the conductor announces that the train is full and passengers should use their assigned seats.
With this pandemic now, how full is the train?A sleeping car attendant whom I've ridden with three times responded:
My last trip we brought 2 people into New Orleans total.

No one's riding...
on a typical day on the National Network, some 90,000 passengers are riding the trains. Today, that number is hovering around 4,000.
