Kudos for the AZ House for passing that bill. But it still has to get through the Arizona Senate and hope that the Governor won’t veto it, so that bill can still be derailed, right?

Yesterday, in Ingram v. Wayne County, the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit issued a decision holding that the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment requires the government to give owners a hearing within two weeks, in at least some cases where their cars seized through asset forfeiture.
