Tel was way more popular in his own country, and his adopted country. Pretty much nobody disliked him. Not only did he have a radio show, he was also a massive TV star.
He was a radio God.
Honestly, American radio is pretty shite. I know you won't agree, but it's true.

The biggest media event of the year is our cherished Oprah having her stage polluted by a grotesque British ex royal with his disgusting trashy actress wife, and you’re complaining? How about less complaining and more apologizing. Oprah is better than that, leave her alone!

A lot of those stations are examples of the ones I would listen to in the middle of the night while traveling. That was always part of the fun when driving all night to get somewhere.I mean, where else are you going to hear legitimate discussions about aliens from Mars invading? And when in the hell are the Mexican stations going to drop that insidious accordion music?
