Actually, I thought the part about the materials jumping 5% in a week was interesting.
I need to build a shed. Nothing spectacular, probably a 10x16 or 12x16, 5/12 gable on a 2x6 perimeter and 2x6 floor joists. Probably do trusses for the rafters. T 1-11 siding.
The materials are outrageous. Darn near $7 for a stud.
