From Cuomo’s daily email update.
On Sunday, we expanded eligibility to include New Yorkers with qualifying comorbidities and underlying conditions. And on Sunday we saw the largest single-day registration total since vaccinations began: 250,924 New Yorkers made appointments at a rate of nearly 10,000 per hour.

Wow, Jon, looks like you have a huge cohort this round. Glad you got through the system for an appointment.
-
Yes absolutely. I will start acting like most of the people around here. Send my kid to school, masked outdoor play dates, send him to camp this summer.
I will go to stores masked without hesitation.
I’ll wait until Rachel is vaccinated before I rejoin a gym. And probably won’t fly until then either.
My 2nd quarter checkup at Duke (North Carolina, maybe 1000km away) I’ll do in person.
-
Same here. I get the second shot 3/5 (for which I am sacrificing 3 days in the Florida Keys, after sacrificing two weeks in Orange Beach on the other end), but who knows when MFR will get hers?
-
@mik Is she 65 yet?
-
No, 63.
-
That’ll put her back a notch in the schedule I presume.
Rachel is healthy and under 55, I’m not sure if she’ll be prioritized at all or just be in the ‘everybody else’ category at the end.
-
Mik did you get there by age alone or age and health condition? (If you don’t mind me asking)
-
Age only. The health system sent out on MyChart to all eligible and it was first come first served. I was diligent.
