    https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/12/world/europe/brexit-britain-trade.html

    “ ...
During the 2016 Brexit referendum campaign, those in favor of leaving Europe promised businesses liberation from the suffocating regulations and time-sucking bureaucracy that supposedly prevailed across the Channel.
    ...
Even those who can reach European markets have discovered that the promised bonfire of regulations is actually a burning hell of paperwork.
    ...“

Lots of activities are slowed down after BREXIT, exports and imports are significantly impacted, lots of financial activities left London for some other centers still in the EU.

One early Brexit payoff, they’ve vaccinated 12 per 100 people, the EU number is ~4.

Lo, no accord shall bloom 'twixt us and that realm, save they do kneel in token of their utter, soul-deep shame! No parley shall we hold, no treaty sign, until their will is broken, and their strength doth lie as dust before our might. -DJT, 3/6/26

In my opinion, global warming is an existential threat.

          Education is extremely important.

For what it's worth, I believe BREXIT is built on a lie.

            Elbows up!

If he thinks that's the most divisive day in Britain's history, wait until England play Scotland in the World Cup.

Interesting that they went to Blackpool - a seaside resort about 15 miles from where I grew up. Based on what I've seen, the place appears to be totally fucked. Drug abuse, unemployment, crime all through the roof.

                I was only joking

Here's a photo-compilation to give you an idea...it's kind of like Las Vegas and Deliverance had a love child.

That being said, there's quite a good zoo for non-humans.

Are those troons or fat chicks? In northern England it’s always hard to tell.
