I may not have use the same words as nobody sock, but I think he does have a very good point

I even heard one senator, talking about the current impeachment trial, said basically that no matter what the evidence, he knew how he was going to vote even before seeing evidence presented a trial. He said something like, we all have our pre-bias which are hard to overcome

    EDIT: both sides are guilty.

President Trump is bad, so everything he does is bad. He can’t just do some thing OK, it hasto be much much better than OK

President Biden is bad, so by default, everything he does is bad.

Partisan to the end. If Trump shot someone in broad daylight with a 1000 witnesses, you and your ilk would twist it into something other than it was. If this was a democrat rabble who invaded the capitol, directly after an inciteful speech by a democrat president who had spent months lying about a bad election, then asking supporters to come to Dc on the very day congress was to ratify the election, You would be wanting all their heads and you know it. In case you cant stand to watch the myriad of videos out there, most taken by the cultist idiots themselves, you would see the numbers were not in the hundreds, they were in the thousand plus range. But go ahead and keep trying to rewrite history so you can sleep at night and keep believing your side is the righteous one. Its amusing to watch and read here.

      Swell

I'm sure we now have some TDS people here who think Mr. Trump shot someone in broad daylight.

We'll never be able to convince them otherwise.

They know. It doesn't take that long for a forensic autopsy and an investigation.

Actually, there are some very nice parallels between Jesus and Trump.

Stop and think...Take a look at what Trump did in terms of actions. Tax cut, border wall, trade deals, the Jerusalem embassy, the Arab Accords, Operation Warp Speed, energy independence, etc. How do those things explain the vitriol hurled his way? Who was Trump, that government agencies tried to defeat his campaign and Presidency through lies and a bogus investigation?

Think about how TPTB orchestrated an early and on-going campaign of biased and sometimes absolutely false information about Trump. A constant overt attempt to influence public perception, far beyond what had been done to most people.

Then ask yourself why that was done? Why?

Next week hopefully we can move on and start working on Biden’s United agenda.

He was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher. That's what I read here and a million other places. The fact that that's been disproved doesn't matter because nobody's talking about it and it's still the narrative. Sooo...

The NYT (unless they shadow edited their article) implies that the fire extinguisher blow contributed to his death, but doesn't go so far as to assert it.

Then on Wednesday, pro-Trump rioters attacked that citadel of democracy, overpowered Mr. Sicknick, 42, and struck him in the head with a fire extinguisher, according to two law enforcement officials. With a bloody gash in his head, Mr. Sicknick was rushed to the hospital and placed on life support. He died on Thursday evening.

I did also hear that he was bludgeoned to death (from here probably, not reading it from a news article.)

Does the distinction matter that much though? Is it in dispute he was hit by a fire extinguisher? (I don't know).

Is it reasonable to assume he died from injuries sustained during this mob action? Does the fire extinguisher being the medical cause of death matter much? The mob did something to him, unless this was some sort of crazy coincidence.

There's plenty to criticize about NYT, but this seems pretty minor.

There's plenty to criticize about NYT, but this seems pretty minor.

                              Watch the extinguisher video

                              When did he die?

                                Actually, it's pretty major.

Getting the facts wrong on a murder is not good for the legal process. Or the political one.
