This is not the company’s first experience with being canceled by big tech. In 2019, following a successful launch on Amazon, they were suspended from advertising on the platform. They were eventually told that having the phrase “Make America Great Again” couldn’t be included on a listing that is in being advertised because Amazon believes the slogan “incites hate.”
Doesn’t track. I just searched Amazon.com for “MAGA” for “Covfefe” and see no lack of merchandise listed with either word came up, as well as those listed with the phrase “Make America Great Again” spelled out in full.
There must be more to the story than Covfefe Coffee using the phrase “Make America Great Again” in their product listings.

Seems really unlikely. Maybe it’s a publicity stunt.

This story isn't about Amazon, however, it's about Chase not allowing WePay services to buy Covfefe.

George that story you linked is about them leaving Amazon. Not the other way around.
Seems like the most likely story is playing to right wing victimhood culture is just how these guys go to market.
There’s just too much Trumpist and MAGAist gear to be bought on Amazon using your Amazon visa (a chase product) for their story to make any sense.

Yeah. I saw that there's tons of MAGA stuff on Amazon.
Here's what they claim:
Amazon offers a Pay-Per-Click (ppc) advertising program to promote brands and products. We took advantage of this effective tool and had great success. A little inside baseball to those in the know we had an ACOS (advertising cost of sale) of 4%. In other words, a home-run.
Not long after receiving the #1 New Release in the coffee category Amazon suspended us from advertising.
(insert a lot of irrelevant stuff about flag-burning, flag-hating etc stuff here:________)
Amazon stated that by using the phrases, "No Nonsense" and "No BS" on our listing were violations of Amazon's profanity and vulgarity policies. "No BS" is pretty weak to suspend an account, but "No Nonsense" is absurd. Like our bag says, "Not Safe For Snowflakes" and our listing infringed on their safe space.
They claim....
Amazon also stated that it is a violation of their advertising policies to advertise products that are "political."
Well, as you point out, there's a lot of stuff there that is political. Perhaps the distinction is between selling and advertising, whatever that might mean on Amazon.
But, any thoughts why WePay is no longer being accepted?
-
No idea. But I don’t trust these guys with the track record of marketing off victimhood to be telling the whole story.
Show me a pattern.

I don’t have a firm opinion yet on this topic but when I saw the Chase we pay announcement I thought how chilling it may be to have Chase dictate how I can spend my money.
