Mr. Jodi is recovered. I came down with a low grade fever when he was close to being better, got tested, was negative, got better, was without a fever for 3 or 4 days, Then cough came back, fever came back, I felt much worse, (I did not get tested again, as it would have been my THIRD test, since they had first tested me at the same time they tested Mr. Jodi, when I was NOT exhibiting symptoms) I came down with an awful headache and felt like I had a sinus infection, took an antibiotic, but not the hydroxycholorquine they prescribed for me when they prescribed it for Mr. Jodi (he had some pretty nasty nausea side effects from it) and then got better. I’ve now been without symptoms for almost 3 weeks though today I feel like I have a cold, cough and chest congestion is back. Which is freaking me out a little. (Did it come back? Or did I not have it and now I do? Or did I have it and now my lungs are messed up? Who the **** knows. I stayed inside today and will see what I feel like tomorrow. The doctors told me to assume I was positive - that I my second negative test results were probably because the test was taken too early in my symptoms. I called the health department about an antibody test - but apparently those aren’t all that reliable yet either.

I’ve been coughing more than normal for a month but have been very isolated, and it is a productive cough. But every variation from normal makes you hitch up a little.

@Jolly Yes, only I was well I felt great - I even rode my horse on Monday and Tuesday! I wear a mask when I go to the grocery store, but not there (I stay away from people and ride outside by myself). Barn owners are very much in the “this virus is not a big deal” camp - so when I felt crummy today, I get worried that I haven’t really had it and I might make somebody else sick. (Really wish I could get the antibody test)

Jodi, I know how it is. Your experience is way too similar to mine. The ups and downs of it, etc.. Thought it was done, then wham, back with more lung issues. Mine felt like it was on the verge of becoming pneumonia. I've had that before a few times, so I'm familiar with the signs.
I never took antibiotics, but was prescribed an albuterol sulfate inhaler. The docs here have to do a chest x-ray before prescribing antibiotics, and they aren't taking in patients unless it's become an emergency. I was skeptical and thought antibiotics might still be needed, but I am making progress. Temp is down, coughing much less, not feeling winded so easily, energy level much improved.
You might benefit from an inhaler at some point, maybe now. It's a very slow recovery process. Mine has been over two months already, and it's not done yet. Be patient with yourself and stay in touch with your medical staff. They need to know what you are experiencing and how long.
