Parody or not, these sorts of opinions are taken seriously within high status pop culture. They have to be, because to not take these sorts of feelings seriously, in case they are not parody, is a cancelable offense.

I was pleased to see all the respect given to Byron Leftwich. I didn't know he made that transition from forgettable starting QB to up and coming coach/strategist. Now I know how long it's been since I've followed the NFL.

He was the Steeler's backup QB for a few years working with Bruce Arians. He was a quality backup and was also a little bit of a coach for Roethlisberger. He was QB coach for Bruce Arians later, then graduated up to OC. He's expected to be a top contender for a HC position after next season. Hopefully, Pittsburgh will have a vacancy.
