I've been neglectful about descaling my Keurig, even though it displayed the "descale" message.

Today, when I tried to make coffee, it made some horrible sounds, and it wouldn't dispense water.

I've put the descaling solution into the water reservoir, but nothing happens, other than the sound of (I presume) the pump trying to get water out of the reservoir.

Any thoughts, or is it dead?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

If it's off warranty you can try taking it apart yourself and clean the parts individually in a 10% cleaning vinegar. I've performed this on several items with success. Always worth looking up on YouTube whether there's there's a DYI maintenance video on Keurigs or similar coffee makers. I've saved hundreds or more $$$ on household appliance repairs by doing just that.

      Elbows up!

As @Renauda says, vinegar works pretty well. One time I did that, but still had problems. I found that the filter screen at the bottom of the water tank was plug, so had to take a tooth brush and scrub that and rinse. The vinegar just made the scales from the water tank land on the filter and plug them up
