German insults

Our German sales guy described his boss as a 'weichei', which apparently means a 'soft-egg'. It has joined my lexicon.
It's quite mild sounding by German standards, whose compliments often sound like mortal insults.

Oh, "Weichei" is a very special insult. Whole books have been written about this class of insults. It's its own genre of insult humor in fact.
For instance, consider this list of "Weichei"-esque insults, some of which are quite funny.

Those are great. We don't have nearly as many - the most obvious one I can think of is shandy-drinker.
