I think it's already left port.

It just doesn't know where it's going...

China has claimed for a long long time that they will not allow Taiwan independence. What they have currently said is nothing different.

But, The airplanes flights have increased quite a bit over the past year or so.

I agree with the article that the flights were a test for President Biden. But it is always interesting - what do they expect the response to be?

Public response? "Behind the scene" response between diplomats? Increase weapons to Taiwan? Keep the aircraft carrier longer in the South China sea?

It is interesting that President Biden has not responded (as far as I know) to the congratulations from Premier Xi on becoming President.

The day after the US names one of theirs after Mao.

              Elbows up!

I doubt they'll make that mistake. The Russians named one The Donald J. Trump, but it inexplicable fired a high explosive shell at itself and is currently resting at the bottom of the harbour after exploding spectacularly.

                I was only joking

Unverified reports suggest that Russian intelligence continues to detect, from time to time, faint radio signals from the bottom of that harbor that decodes to Internet packet trying to reach Twitter.
