Nun’s murderers convicted 29 years after her death

The court found that, 29 years ago, a young nun walked into a scene where she witnessed a priest and another nun engaged in a sex act, and that the pair subsequently murdered the young nun to cover up their illicit affairs.
Over the course of 29 years, there were multiple attempts by the local police and the national investigation bureau trying to dismiss the case as a suicide, but the case was kept open by the courts thanks in large part to the victim’s father’s and another concerned activist’s insistence. There are also reports of the local police force trying to pin the murder on another thief who were also close to the scene at the time, including torturing the thief, torturing the thief’s brother, and offering bribes the the thief. But the thief never budged and ended giving material testimony to the court that led to the conviction.
