Seize The Endowments!

Steal other people's money. Swell. While he has a point that some universities do not need government assistance (a good friend and neighbor of mine administered Yale's contracts for a couple years and spoke often of their enormous endowments), the guy cannot write nor keep his number straight. He can't seem to figure out whether he's talking about Harvard or Yale nor how much money they have in endowments.

Yeah how big is the step from this to picking out individuals or corporations and seizing their money?

As large as Howard University’s endowment is, they have two of their main buildings damaged so badly that they are condemned and they can’t afford to repair them. The Coronavirus may well kill that school.

$692M.
If they can't fix a building with that, maybe they deserve to die.

“Seize the Endowments” also indicates that we are not normal conservatives, who leave bad actors alone, hoping the free market will work things out. Instead, we are willing to dramatically reshape these institutions and wield government power aggressively against them.
He does not believe in the free market, he wants to use government power to confiscate private wealth, and he says he’s not a “normal conservative.” No shit. What have “conservatives” become these days?

Apparently, he's a lawyer who runs a website. Far be it from me to indulge in odious stereotyping....
