Agree, but I can see why this is difficult to aggregate.
-
Isn't the main problem that there's not enough testing going on to figure this out?
-
MD just got 500,000 tests. From South Korea.
Governor's wife had the hookup.

Has Trump ever not crowed?
And that, more than anything else, pisses me off about him. Put aside the policy successes and failures - every time I hear "beautiful," "powerful," come out of his mouth it makes me cringe.
He's still bragging about ventilators today.
Stop it, and he'll gain a lot of credibility. I don't think it's in his DNA, however.

Will be interesting to see if that was necessary or not. The task force alleges there is plenty of capacity he did not know about. Will be a good political fight tomorrow.

Uh, there isn't. His plan to reopen the state includes X tests ready to go. We have far less than that.

A tidbit along the lines of what I asked here. 60% of the sailors who have tested positive about carrier Roosevelt are asymptomatic.

This is a disease we are so far away from understanding.
Decades ago, I remember being taught that tuberculosis was "the great impersonator." This reminds me of that.

I keep hearing from the icu people where I work that the one obvious features of the intubated which is not getting as much air time as hypertension or cardiovascular disease as a comorbiidty, is obesity.

I mean this as a serious comment, not snark - it makes me wonder how people view him as 'strong' or masculine in any way. He's so transparently needy and he does nothing to hide how fragile his ego is.

@jon-nyc But isn't Trump's style in part just the way countless monarchs viewed themselves? Trump's personality can be seen as a kind of cross-breed between Louis XIV and a redneck, I think.
I'll have to think about your first sentence but the second one made me laugh out loud.

Anybody in the Oval Office has a huge ego. It goes with the territory. In that respect, I think he has a lot in common with his Presidential Ideal, which is Andrew Jackson.
As for some of the other stuff, Trump is a promoter, be it real estate or business. Whether that is his natural personality or something that grew on him through the years, I don't know.

@jon-nyc I think it's not completely absurd. Mar-a-lago is a kind of poor man's version of Versailles. Just look at the Hall of Mirrors in Versailles. Doesn't take a lot of fantasy to imagine how much Trump would have liked to have a hall like that.

I know there are many genders these days, but assuming there are only 2.
That guy is not feminine.
He may have have his problems but his gender is established.
