Why is/isn't it better than the "Notes" app in Mac/iOS?

I used it for recipes but it was too aggressive in getting me to go premium and you introduced me to Paprika.

I uninstalled it.

I'm a heavy iOS Notes user.

Used Evernote a long time ago, and also stopped using Evernote a long time ago.

Apple's "Notes" has become "good enough" so I stopped maintaining yet another 3rd party app that serves more of less the same purpose. Also, Apple's "Notes" allow me to sync across different services (iCloud, Google, Yahoo, etc.), so I am not locked into one service. Not sure if Evernote can do that now, it could not when I was using it years ago, IIRC.

I'm a "Notes" user as well, but I saw a promo for Evernote, and I thought I'd ask around to see if it's worth it.

Is there a good place to read up on some of the "power user" features of the Notes app?
