Because of her stellar performance as a prosecutor (who admitted to smoking weed while prosecuting people for smoking (or at least buying) weed)?

Identity politics was one of the biggest reasons we got Trump. More identity based policies are just going to deepen the rift.

This is what most political disagreements boil down to. Unfortunately "never Trump" is binary rather than graduated, which has introduced a great difficulty in discussion.
