Romano said the mail will not be all dispersed on April 20, 2020. It will take a couple of months to get all the checks out.
Seriously? Months?

Yep. That was known going in.
It's not only a matter of printing, it's a matter of finding a lot of these people.

Speaking of checks, here's an interesting local story about the business loans.

Y'know, we were going to donate this money to someone who needs it. The more I see the profligate waste the more I think maybe I'll just buy myself a high end smoker.
We're paying for full-time childcare still, even though we're not using it. The family who runs it is awesome, and the dad's an HVAC guy who's working less, and grandpa moved back home so they've less income coming in.
We also had a big plan to fix up the house to finalize it to sell, and were working with a local handyman to get the work done faster. We lost the sale of the house to this shit, which set our plans back by at least a year or two, but we decided to go ahead with the work because we told the guy we would. So he's still helping us. While he's out on other jobs, he's offered to pick things up for us. He refuses payment for that, but fortunately his bank processes the payments anyway.
We're also getting food delivered on a regular basis from restaurants who have cut their hours. I'm getting reimbursed to use my phone for office use, which is stupid, so that's where all that money goes. (No, we're not using the apps to make the orders.)

THat's great Aqua.
I'm still paying my cleaning lady. Haven't used any local restaurants but I wasn't a big restaurant goer before.

We found that it's also a good way to mix up the random crap that's available in the way of groceries.
