I guess the obvious question is: How did they manage to let "Alex Kamal" die so conveniently, even though news of his scandal emerged only (AFAIK) the shooting had ended?

I was wondering the same thing.

His contract probably said that he must be available for re-shoots. His camera time in that whole scene was about 5 seconds.

What I particularly liked was the head-fake towards the end. Avasarala is in that bar/lounge, talking all that happy-talk about what the alliance is all about, and it would have been a reasonably fine ending to the season.

Yes, the way his death was presented was very strange.

The death scene was basically a still image with CGI blood added, and that was it.

In TV, people don't randomly die of heart attacks.

In the book, Fred Johnson has a stroke after a high-G maneuver (he's not killed by Marco).

The whole point of "The Juice" is to prevent that from happening (keeps your blood pressure up). Bobbie tells him something like "Be careful or you'll stroke out." When she returns, that's exactly what happened, and Alex says, "What a ride..."

So... is this a new scene or was he deleted via CGI? Looks like the former to me. The background actors seem to be different ones.

I think the same thing. Also, look at the vacant chair next to Alex. That's probably CGI

The first 3 episodes are confusing AF, and you have NO idea of what's going on, or who the players are. Then, it all begins to click.

Ah! See I have watched the first two or 3 episodes more than once now. I keep falling asleep because it's late at night. I might have to initially attack this one during the daytime hours. lol
