The Impeachment Arrow was wasted by the Dems for supposed political gain.

It might rile up the fringes, but the majority of the country would ignore it.

Merrick is a totally reasonable choice. I would have thought though that an AG and a Supreme Court justice would have different personas.

And Nancy is pot stirring even though Trump would likely have been impeached given more time on the clock.

Don't think they're going to get it.

Trump's approval rating with Republican women has gone up 15% in less than two weeks. He still has the support of the vast majority of Republican men.

Politicians are politicians. Cheney is catching some major heat in Wyoming and will be primaried. Mittens is catching heat in Utah and he may not survive the next campaign, if he doesn't get over himself. Murkowski may not make it, either.

The GOP rank and file has not abandoned Trump.

Based on the below information, I am unable to see how President Trump was so good for the party on a wide basis. Yes, there is a certain % who are extremely loyal to him, but the results overall do not show an up trend.

Maybe he just got tired of winning? * shrug *

So, in some case, there is a Democrat governor but the Republics control the legislature

You missed another one. 2017 was coming off of a Obama presidency. Midterms and end of Presidential terms usually cause a power shift.
