Possibly a bad shooting. Maybe a good shooting. I don't know.
As far as I can tell, I don't think she had a weapon. And I can't tell if she was trying to gain entrance into the hallway.
What would scare me, is she's right next to an armed cop. Bullets go through people. They ricochet. The officer could have killed a cop just as easily as a civilian.
I'd like to hear from the cop standing by her, as to whether she had been trying to take his weapon, etc...

Now everybody on the deceased's side who witnessed it will...
- Lament the death for the rest of their lives
- Have an awesome story to tell
Please let me know which you think is more probable.
I tell you what, I bet the agent who shot her is having a very bad time today, and will be for some time to come.

Sure. She didn't need to be shot.

How do you know?
Personally I'd need to know more about what was in that hallway that the men were protecting before I could express an opinion. That could have been the offices where all the people were hiding. They had chairs piled up against the entrance and guns drawn. A mob was trying to breech it despite that.
That shot undoubtedly stopped further attempts at breeching it. If that's where the staff were hiding then it was probably necessary, if tragic.

well I don't "know". It didn't seem to me based on that video that she needed to be shot.

Video here (you will have to click on it to get to YouTube) it shows a different angle, from behind. It’s chaos, and the police are coming up from the other side, and I’m surprised nobody else got shot.

That definitely confirms that the shot stopped the mob from attempting to breech the entrance to the are guarded by the secret service.
Soon enough we'll find out what they were guarding. Though 'an area of the capital building' is no doubt sufficient in law to justify the shot.

And Antifa was bitching about rubber bullets and tear gas...

The soil for growing narratives is fallow on the left and rich on the right. Maybe Renauda has a point about where our culture is heading.

Surely one must take into consideration whether the mob is attacking the Capital Building fully staffed or an empty Old Navy.

Capitol building is a message, and completely unattainable. On the other hand, entire neighborhoods were secured by the rioting left. People were living in those neighborhoods, and you tell me if they felt free to say who they voted for.

How the fuck many electoral college tallies were they taking in that Old Navy? Did they try to steal the physical votes for best khakis?

That's the actual point.
If the agents were protecting staffers or elected officials, the shot is righteous. Possibly ill-advised, but righteous.

I’ve already been clear on this point. These people need to go to jail. Domestic Terrorism charges are completely appropriate. There’s also the whole “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” aspect of this. I’m surprised more people weren’t shot.
I’m also surprised that there were no crowd suppression measures taken. That’s all I am saying.

Right? Keep in mind the Vice President was in the building. I'm a little surprised the secret service didn't open up on the crowd with machine guns.

52 did go to jail
Probably not for long
