What’s going to be the bigger shit show today?

I didn’t see glee during this. I saw anger and contempt.

Damn right
Anger and contempt is what those on the right have been dealing with for the past four years, just so you know. Personally, I'm well aware we're all human.

There was no glee from me, and I sure as hell wasn't happy to see people die, whatever you might choose to imply about me, Jolly.

Same. I feel sadness mainly.

I'm not implying. I'm painting you all with a nice four-inch paintbrush. I can positively hear the chuckles from some of you, as you sit in self-righteous glory, seeing that filth get what they deserve. If it's a horrible story and Trump or his supporters are involved, it is time for some to rejoice. To wallow in the sheer joy of victory. Let the MAGATs hit the floor!
I see this differently. I think it's a very sad day when citizens are so riled up or aggrieved, they storm the Capitol. I have no problem defending the building or the people inside with deadly force. I think that we have not been as aggressive as needed in more than one Washington incident. Same opinion for other cities, such as Portland.
I don't think it's a day to dance around the living room bunker, laughing about a Trump political defeat. I think it's a day to ask one's self, How did we get here?. Sure, there are always nuts on both sides, but Trump exists for a reason and so do the millions of votes that were cast for him. There is also a reason why millions think this last Presidential election was rigged.
Some of you might reflect on how the people in those overwhelmingly red counties feel, and why they voted as they did. But I doubt that most of you will. You're too busy scoring political points and enjoying yourselves...

BTW, the woman that was shot and killed was a 14-year Air Force veteran, with four tours of duty.
What happened to the 'antifa thugs bussed in by Soros' theory? Or has he expanded his recruiting?

Nope. THat's not different at all. This part anyway. The difference is, along with the sadness, we have anger directed at the man who did the riling and the enablers that knew better.

How does one account for this other than voting for Hillary? Honest question.
-
@horace Honest answer in the other thread.
-
All the protesters/rioters/domestic terrorists (take your pick) got encouragement. What differed is who did the encouraging.

Exactly. The protesters in the US yesterday are no different than those who rioted in the summer.

Bullshit.
Post after joyous post confirms your absolute orgasmic satisfaction at another Trump loss. It doesn't matter why it happened. It doesn't matter who got hurt, who was killed, why people fought down the halls of the Capitol.
It's all about winning. It's all about power. It's all about Trump or his supporters losing. It's all about MAGAT vermin hitting the floor, isn't it? They got what they deserved, didn't they? After all, people who supported or voted for Trump are idiots. Fools. Imbeciles, drooling as they zombie-shuffle to the voting booth.
Enjoy. Wallow in the shattered glass. Blow up the scenes of the Capitol storming and use them for wall decor. Hell, take the sound recording of the agent's weapon, as he kills a woman in the hallway and use it for the ringtone on your phone.
Enjoy. Enjoy the victory.
But while you're patting yourself on the back after your glorious triumph, do a little introspection. Learn that your vicious hate for Trump or anything associated with him is not good for your soul. Hate eats at a man. It makes him less than what he could be...

It sounds to me like you really despise us, Jolly.

Trump incites a riot. I'm the bad guy.
Ok.
