From what I understand, a big part of the explanation of the numbers of Spain and Portugal is not that there are so many divorces but so few new marriages. The divorce rate is measured as the quotient of divorces and marriages in a year, I believe, so the "percent of marriages ending in a divorce" header is misleading.

A lot of people say Costco isn’t that great a deal because you end up buying stuff you wouldn’t have bought otherwise. This would be the poster child for that.

Every visit, I try and spend a moment or two playing the Roland digital piano they're selling at Costco. I'm waiting for someone to recognize Bach's Art of Fugue...

Their prices aren't nearly as good as they used to be and other stores started competing with them

People leave a space at the edge for a line piece, which clears all four rows. Sometimes it takes a while for the line to get there and the pieces keep piling up till it does.
