I actually wore crocs at work for a while. Must've been about 8 months. Most damn uncomfortable shoes ever.

LOL. I thought that Crocs were the most ugly shoe either. But I eventually got a pair, and actually like them quite a bit.
I will have to try the ones you recommend.

In my career, I think I went through 4 pair. They last forever. They are autoclavable, I believe, or at least steam-strerilizable.
They come with and without holes on the top. I always got the ones with holes because of ventilation. The surgeons who wore them usually got the ones without holes because of bodily fluids.
Remind me, did I tell you the story about when I saw these at a professional meeting?

I was at a meeting, and there was a booth selling these shoes. There was a comely saleslady at the booth. I told her, "I wear these shoes at work every day. I love them, particularly the tits on the insole."
She looked shocked.
"Doctor!" she said. "Those are NOT tits. Those are pleasure ridges."

Sure - just depends on how comfortable you are with clogs. They're really no different than any other plastic/rubber shoe.

Sure - just depends on how comfortable you are with clogs. They're really no different than any other plastic/rubber shoe.

No, I didn't. As a matter of fact, I don't think I blamed Biden for it either. I may be wrong there, but I'll accept it if you can show me where I did.
IIRC, I linked to graphs, etc., but I never explicitly blamed the ODGCM for it.
