A pair of a pair of scissors.
(I'll leave it to @Klaus to create further recursions or perhaps even a pair of scissors mobius loop.)

One of the earliest (1950s) cool programming languages, LISP, was built in a very fundamental way on a pair data structure, which was often very deeply and recursively nested to create, for instance, arbitrarily large lists of things.

A runner told Runner's World that she forgot her shorts for a race and decided to run in her underwear as she had a long singlet. She figured correctly that no one would suspect or notice as lots of women runners run in bikini briefs.

I sit on my deck in boxers sometimes. But I leave the pants inside, and they are dark and don't have hearts or anything on them. I figure if someone gets a thrill out of that, well, God love their poor little hearts.
