Financial Times headline: Tom Brady joins firm launched by disgraced PR guru Declan Kelly
Brady, the National Football League* star who recently announced he was retiring from the sport before rescinding that decision, has joined Kelly’s new firm Consello as a partner, according to the site.
*NFL spelled all the way out for those flowers of the carriage trade who can't be expected to know what the letters stand for, but who suspect might have to do with bulky persons who, what, roll around in the mud after a ... what, ball or something?
Brady is described on the Consello site as “a proven leader, whose achievements are attained by mastering the skills of leadership, strategy, performance, and teamwork”.
Jesus. Tepid much?
