@mark in the early days of my private practice, each of us had a cart which we kept stocked with supplies for taking care of patients.
In it were airway supplies, medications, extra breathing circuits, suction catheters, and other essentials (I had one drawer with about 100 CDs in it).
One of my partners had a rubber mallet hanging from the side.
