I recorded this last January after studying the piece for a couple of weeks. I have since forgotten most of it. I will definitely re-visit it as it is one of my favorites to play.
I always hesitate to publish these videos for a variety of reasons. I need to let go of my perfectionist attitude. I tend to dismiss the entire take if I get one buzz or even slight timing error. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
I presented this video to the virtual class I participating in last January, with Dr. Simon Powis. He pointed out that my right hand needs more "extension" of the fingers. I have them too curled at rest. I immediately applied his advice and my tone started to improve quite a bit. I always intended to pursue it, but I will just have to get back on it. I have been distracted the past 11 months or so.
Played on my 1977 Larrivee Classical.

Thank you all. I am working on some new videos of pieces I have learned over the years and even more recently. No ETA on them.
