I wanna be vaccinated...
So, it's NYE. Whatcha gonna do?
Here at Chez Mik we're going to have dinner and go to bed before midnight. What are you doing to rock in the new year?

Dinner but on the late-ish side, maybe 930. Just me and Mrs Bach.
Salmon and spinach, and the Shampoo I mentioned in the other thread, and some patient gave me today some premium chocolates as a gift so that will be dessert.
Into bed probably before midnight. Maybe watch the Australian or New Zealand fireworks which always end up on tv before nodding off.
My second vaccine date is Jan 11. I’m looking forward to getting that done and enjoy a little lowering of the tension.

I am eating a pork and bean burrito for lunch, Tuscan Pork Tenderloin with a 5 bean salad for dinner, Pork Kielbasa and Kraut for a late snack, rinse and repeat tomorrow. I am taking no chances....

The ham bone is defrosting from Christmas...
We didn't have the traditional New Year's day soup last January 1, due to Mrs. Mark being in the hospital. We think that started the ball rolling in a bad direction for 2020... lol

Snacking all day. Zooming with friends in the evening. Then late-ish dinner of spaghetti and meatballs. Zooming with family. Then more snacking until midnight. Then we bang on pots and pans, and run up and down the street, yelling "Happy new year" to our neighbors. Then we'll play Miles Morales on the PS4 because we are lame and don't have a PS5.

Roast rack of lamb with rosemary garlic crust
Asparagus with tomatoes and garlic
either some miniature gold potatoes or white sweet potatoesProbably no dessert - after Christmas I never want to see sugar again. If anything some blueberries with a dollop of half and half.
