Do you suppose it was filmed with a drone? It was so smooth.

Yeah, sure looks like drone footage - the end gives it away.

And yeah, fullscreen is the way to watch this. Remarkable.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

          The cameraman:

Yeah, I also suspect drone use.

@george-k I also thought at first it was a drone, but if you click on ax’s link, and scroll down, you can see the contraption the guy skates in. Amazing that he knows their pattern enough to be close but not in the way.

Very cool. Seems like it would be difficult to control a drone so smoothly. Maybe the skating cameraman with the shock absorbed camera who knows the choreography is more believable.

              Education is extremely important.

Unreal that he carries that big camera rig while skating.

Falls are inevitable in skating. I wonder if his falling has ever interrupted a take.

Can we please see some footage of the filming process by a guy who specializes on filming on ice figure skating filming on ice?

@george-k Interesting. That’s much simpler that the photograph I saw of him with camera equipment.
