      No wai! The pickle is German, but we have one too. Whoever finds it gets to be Santa in the morning.

        It's supposed to be German, but it's a really big thing here in Minnesoooooota evidently. For the Epiphany party, which we used to do every year around January 6th, all the kids had to find their pickle on the tree. Yes, each child had a pickle with their name written in gold. When all were found, each child got a present. It was fun to see them work together to find all the pickles. LOL
