Dick Pix, Bootlegging, and the Spirit of the Holidays

So, I picked up D&D again after something like a 20-year hiatus this past February. (I knew the DM, who said he had a campaign he wanted to run, but the other folks were strangers prior to this.) Since the Times became Unprecedented, we've been keeping the game going through freaking text.
These people lead deviant lifestyles. One of them runs and maintains a Netflix-like server out of some ass-end of the world that hosts thousands of obscure-as-hell movies and TV shows from the 70s and 80s. He's making an interface for it and everything. Another married couple have an open relationship, and instead of sharing memes of cats and stuff with one another, they both follow the same "obscure dick pix" subreddit. And they all smoke an astonishing amount of weed. My wife and I are complete squares in comparison.
We were making food for the group that we were gonna drop off this week. Because what the hell, they might not be into the holiday, but that's just what you do, right?
Turns out Netflix guy has a friend who works at a print shop, and after hours, he helped him make some stuff for us and our daughter. Also, open relationship couple got gifts for our daughter they wanna drop off Christmas Eve. Apparently we were all planning these things separately without talking about them to one another.
There are plenty of stand-up urban professionals who make for worse friends.

I'd share that, but they don't need any ideas.
