Wondering how long I should wait for the Covid vaccine - just (in the last week) got over my second covid infection, and it absolutely flattened me. (Except for the fear of the unknown factor, first time i had it in March 2020 it wasn’t as bad.)

Pretty sure the boosters are available to everyone other than children under 16.

      65+ for certain.

Pretty sure they aren't boosters anymore, they're just new vaccines. They don't build on previous vaccines, they offer protection for entirely new variants.

I have no idea. To me they’re needle in the arm booster shots. It will be number four for the same bug in two years, plus I had very mild case of the bug a year ago. To me it will be a booster shot.

I was in for my physical last week. They told me that if I had the previous covid shot/booster the new one is probably a waste.

The way they explained it to me is that the immune system doesn't build new antibodies because the new one is so much like the old one it doesn't see much difference. So new antibodies don't get built.

            I’ve had 3 Pfizer and 4 Moderna.

Probably get another soon. Just to run up the score against you.

There are antibody tests, although I don't know if there is any good data on correlation between antibody titers and natural immunity.
