I'm just disappointed with politicians of today. It used to be when they lied, they'd at least give you a good lie. Now, they don't bother to create believable fictions. It's like they don't even care enough to give their best effort to us.

People accept it when the politician they support lies, not so much when it's the other guy.

I think this is a real problem. In an ideal world we would hold the guy we vote for to the same standard, maybe even a higher one.
