@nobodyssock This is no different on the left and right. I don't think it's "stupid people". I think it's how social media has amplified and shaped the leanings of people who wouldn't normally be that politically interested.
With the BLM stuff - I noticed a lot of people close to me had no idea what the facts on the ground were, but posted social media posts and formed their opinions mostly on the fact that others in their circle were expressing the same opinion.
I pushed people really close to me to really explain why they believed what they did, and their understanding was usually very shallow. A lot of Canadians actually picked up the BLM mantle in Canada. They had protests and kinda modified to be about indigenous populations because there aren't that many black people in Canada.
I don't want to take this thread on a "social media is bad" tangent - but I don't think this is about people being stupid.

Because you see, it is a fact that the democrats are the ones wanting America to be a Socialist nation. So either the stupid one is you, or you agree with the goal of turning America into a Socialist nation.
"Take your money"... I'm not sure what rock you've been living under, but it's been a commonly accepted fact by both sides of the political spectrum for more years than you've been alive that the democrats are the tax and spend party.

Now let's phrase this issue correctly. The Right wants the border secure so we know who us entering. The Left wants no border because they dont give a damn about the drug trafficking, child sex trade, nd the other forms of human trafficking that goes on as a result of an open border, they just want voters.
It was reported in the news just two days ago that there are 2 separate "caravans" of people heading toward the border already, in anticipation of Biden taking office and throwing the border back open. They bring with them the drug trade, children who will be sold into the sex slavery trade, there will be a lots of women raped along the way, some will be killed... all because they KNOW that if your side gets control of government, it's back to business as usual.

Good point. In todays world, alot (maybe most) of the people get their news from the internet (and I dont mean reading on line newspapers).
And these sites "follow" what you read and what is interesting to you, and just posts more the same type of stuff. After a while for example, if you are far to the right or far to the left, that is the only type of news you read and you lose out on a whole different perspective.
Not so good in the long run.
