The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

God, I wish I'd thought of that.

      I was only joking

So twitter just allows people from any device and any location to sign in?

Seems like it would be so easy to challenge something not recognized.

Something isn’t right and it isn’t necessarily the password choice although dual authentication would help. Still the onus should be on the user since we know how abundant hacking is.

I believe they send an email when a new device is utilized - but there is time between the time the login occurs and when the person reads the email - and theoretically responds.

              Lol

“This is absolutely not true but we don’t comment on security procedures around the President’s social media accounts,” deputy White House press secretary Judson Deere said in a statement in October.

They know when it’s a new device why not just put a policy in place where the tweet doesn’t go through until one acts on the email?

Who would object to that? I mean how often does one use a brand new device to get on an app???

It’s the one reason I would believe for high profile individuals that if they deny the attack was via hacked password it might be true.
