The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

      Blatantly unconstitutional.

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Does the state government have the right to prohibit the sale or display of items it finds offensive/hateful on its lands?

Does it have the right to prohibit the sale of such items to private buyers?

Does that apply to cakes as well?

SCOTUS ruled that the American Nazi Party (or whatever it was called at that time) had the right to march in Skokie, IL, on public property, despite its offensive background and message.

The state legislature served it up so I don’t think he wanted to be in the position to veto but rather pass the problem along. I get it.

This is one of those instances where I can't imagine he meant to say what what he typed. Either "not designed to just protect popular speech" or "designed to protect even unpopular speech." But I could be wrong and he's an idiot.

If it is like in stores in state parks and things like that, I assume that the state can control what the store people sell.

If it is someone setting up a cart on a street corner, probably not okay to try and control what they sell, as long as it is legal.
