Holy crap does this have bite. Not sure if I really like it, hate it, or both...
It burns the throat...

@lufins-dad Is it spicer than Cock n Bull Ginger beer? (My favorite ginger soda for Moscow mules - I love the zing of the ginger). I made some Serrano/ginger syrup to make the drinks even spicier.

I love strong ginger - I drink ginger beer, as it tends to be spicier and less sugary.
Might give this a shot.

I’ll have to try the Cock&Bull.
I have a few stomach issues that ginger helps with, and surprisingly enough, Canada Dry actually works... Apparently there is enough real ginger in there... Surprised me, and I can only drink so much lemon ginger tea...

My go-to that you can get easily here is Bundaberg ginger beer.
I'd try the cock and bull, but I'm allergic to taurine.

Mrs. Phibes has just bought some Fever Tree ginger beer - their tonic water is awesome, so hopefully the ginger beer is also good.

So far, Cock n Bull is my favorite - and the spiciest that I’ve tried. And I don’t like it when ginger beer is too sweet.

I'm going to have to try and find that. The stuff I grew up with - Schweppes and Idris, was a lot less sweet than most of what's available in the US.
I've discovered that mixing it half-and-half with a strong IPA makes a really delicious drink, and also means I can drink it out of 22 oz glasses, and so don't feel like a complete loser for watering it down due to my manly glass.
