@jodi I've got a few hand-blown ornaments on the tree. Buddy of mine from WV, had a neighbor who was a glass blower, so that was our Christmas present for a couple of years.

They're tucked sonewhere on the tree with the rest of the 400+ ornaments.

We tried to downsize that monstrosity a few years back and the kids howled like Georgia during Sherman's March. So, up it goes...

@jolly holy cow that’s a lot of ornaments. Steve was friends with the scientific glass blower at the university when we were in grad school - the guy did art glass too - and one time he showed Steve how to make some glass ornaments. Steve’s seriously look like clear glass potatoes... But I put a few up every year because they make me smile.

That's amazing to watch how quickly they can make glass ornaments. Love it. Thanks, Jodi!

Have to have enough ornaments to balance out the 1000 lights.😄😄

WOw! That is very neat. Did not realize the amount of work that was in there.

(PS Thought it was funny near the end of the video when talking about breaking teh stem and putting the ornament hook on - the work had a bandage on their finger. Probably pretty common to be cut on the job. LOL)
