Yeah, and I'm a stripper named Tiffany.
For your family’s sake I hope you have a day job.

I think he means paint.

Jealousy is most certainly a green-eyed monster.

You laugh, but anybody remember Angelique? (I think that was her name) A couple of posters were clearly considering marriage proposals before finding out she was actually a gentlemen in his late middle age.

Not sure of the title, but I definitely want him to be played by Kenneth Williams or Charles Hawtrey.
A deliciously hilarious casting.
How should they cast Sid James? As a kid he reminded me of our neighbour two houses over. He was a true cockney, born and raised in east London before the war.

You all have me laughing out loud this morning - chicken lips and paint strippers.
This doesn't happen most places. It takes old, passionate assholes that are utterly convinced they are right about whatever we are talking about.
Except for Jon. Or maybe Klaus. They're not as old as the rest of us. They're just passionate assholes.

I blame you all for my lack of personability.

It might surprise a few people here to learn that I am actually an MMA fighter. Particularly those who've met me.
It's true and he's undefeated! . Of course, MMA stands for 'My Mom's Aunt'.

You know who I remember? The guy on PW that was always shilling for Perzina pianos. Don't remember his name, but I remember his awkward speech patterns and how Perzinas (nice piano that they are) were every bit as good as Faziolis. "Try! You will SEE!".
This could be a great walk down memory lane if we quit beating on the absent.

Sid James would do a good Steve Bannon, or possibly Hillary. However, I think Hillary would be best played by the sadly very recently departed Barbara Windsor.

Was that Kassman? He went by "master88er" on PW.

That, or the time as a baby, you were dropped on your head.

Just reading through this now.
Yea i was the reason he left.
But honestly the only thing I have a clear memory of is posting a shitload of barge images.
And now every time I see a picture, or for that matter, a real barge, I think of that incident.

How the hell did a thread about Trump turn into a discussion of a 12 year old thread on this board? Amazing.
FWIW, I think Dewey rocks. Probably in contrast to many of you, I met him personally. It's amazing how many of you judge him based on a few bits of coarse-grained information, without knowing any of the details.
lol, "the details are in the personal meeting". You are a target.
Hu? No idea what you are talking about.
Meeting somebody personally gives a different and wider perspective on a person than merely chatting on a public internet forum. It gives a better approximation of that person's character.
Which, by the way, is a reason why I don't understand why a few of us never want to meet or see anyone else from the forum. Makes me wonder whether they pretend to be something different from what they really are.
The salesmen thrive in such interractions. We all have real lives and I trust we report them responsibly.
Though in times of COVID, real lives are online mostly.

and you posted some beautiful barges at that. I recall a colourful scow or two as well.

This is a crazy forum thread, and reading the one from the other forum board is crazy as well. LOL I dont remember that one at all. Lots of names that dont post here anymore, which is unfortunate. Always good to a have a variety of opinions and points of view.
Regarding Dewey, I agree with those that like him. I have also never met him personally, but we did have some private message exchanges and well as public ones on the forum board. I always have nothing but the high respect for him.
Had to look up what the exact definition of apostate is:
noun
a person who forsakes his religion, cause, party, etc.Obviously, Dewey is accepted in the religion he is a preacher in. So, i am not sure that he is apostate. He may be by definition of other people on this forum board because their religion has different requirements , etc. Doesn't make him a bad person however. I believe that Ivanka Trump converted to Jewish. So, is she an apostate against Christian religion? Maybe by definition, but that does not make her a bad person.
Anyway, interesting and memories were brought back by this thread.
Never really had much interaction with David Burton, but do remember he had some interesting theories. But since I am not a conspiracy person at all, I did not really believe much of it.
