I am okay with them moving up in line if it encourages others to get the vaccine.

Honestly that could create a lot of cynicism. Plus the healthcare workers and nursing home residents probably don’t need the encouragement.

Let them go first once their category is prioritized. Two of them are over 65, so it’ll be early enough. And the vast majority of those who need to be persuaded would be after them.

In fact it will be encouraging to see Obama only get his later after the over 65s have had their chance.

The number of blue people who will get the vaccine because these guys got it in public.

The number of red people who skip the vaccine because these guys got it in public.
